We had the cheese burgers and of course the fries. EXCELLENT OUTSTANDING! Just as good as Five Guy's and a little less expensive. We had the apple pie turnover alamode. We enjoyed it so much that we brought back our son the next weekend and they DID NOT DISAPPOINT!

Great food and really nice people! The owner has been there the 3 times I have been there, and he randomly comes out and checks on his customers. Makes you feel so welcome!

Was here a few years ago when campground hosting at Pisgah campground. This was one of our go to places. Friday was 99c day for dogs. All the food and Fryz were excellent. It’s the best. I see it has hot dog Monday. Apparently mayyyybee French Fryz Friday was free fries Friday ???

BLT and tots were great! They have a seasoning bar inside too so you can doctor your fries and tots which was a nice touch. Also can't beat the Monday dollar hot dogs. Fries weren't my favorite, but I prefer crispy fries and these were softer-the flavoring was good though.

What a great old-fashioned hammer and hotdog place. Like diners of old. And the fries are amazing. Even will offer malt vinegar for you. Who remember getting french fries at the fair. It was a really good place and we really enjoyed the meal. And the prices were excellent. A hotdog for less than two bucks you can’t beat that.

My wife and I have been eating here since it opened, which is about 11 years. The food is great, reasonably priced with prompt service. 2025 Jan 6 My wife and I, with thousands of others, has enjoyed the 99 cent hot dogs from French Fryz. But like grocery stores, food suppliers to restaurants must constantly review their cost and adjust prices as necessary. Most likely that is the reason, or one of them, that caused French Fryz to restore the hot dog price to its previous price of 1.99. Compared to other restaurant prices, it's still a good deal! 2024 Dec 7 My wife and I had an early supper at French Fryz. After you become a regular customer, don't be surprised when Eddie, the owner, stops by your table for a quick chat! I want to think Mirasol who always keeps the dining room and tables very clean. As well as keeping the salt and pepper shakers full! 2024 Nov 26 My wife and I had dinner at French Fryz. As usual, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. A highlight of our visit was an opportunity to chat with Emma, one of of favorite cashiers. If you go in after 4pm and there is a friendly, outgoing cute blonde at the register, that is Emma. Tell her that Judy and Wayne said hello! 2024 Sept 24 Today, my wife and I both had the .99 hot dogs with a side order of 1/2 onion rings and 1/2 French Fries. 2024 Sep 21 For my wife and I, our food choice for today was BLTs with Onion Rings and French Fries.

One thing stands out in reviews from satisfied customers: the food is nothing short of exceptional. Michelle Williamson can attest to this, having indulged in their "EXCELLENT OUTSTANDING" hamburgers and fries, finding them comparably delicious to the renowned Five Guys but at a wallet-friendly price point. The allure doesn’t stop at burgers; their apple pie turnover a la mode is a sweet ending that leaves diners craving more.

The atmosphere is equally impressive. Patrons like Melissa Olson highlight the quality of both the food and the service. Fresh ingredients and super nice staff create a comforting environment that makes each visit feel special. Even the plastic silverware shines with a quality that surpasses the norm, proving that attention to detail is paramount at French Fryz.

One of the delightful touches that enhances your experience is the seasoning bar. Emily Gettys mentions the opportunity to tailor your fries and tots to your liking, allowing customers to elevate their meals with personalized flavors. It’s this unique option that transforms simple fries into a creative canvas for food lovers. Though some customers express a preference for crispier fries, the overall flavor profile remains commendable.

Great food paired with genuine hospitality is part of the charm that keeps customers returning. April Boyd notes that the owner often checks on patrons, fostering a sense of community and warmth. It feels like returning to a friend’s house rather than merely dining out. And for hot dog enthusiasts, Randall Sears fondly reminisces about discount days, like the famous 99cent Friday for dogs, making each visit a potentially economical feast.

Overall, French Fryz is not just another restaurant; it’s a haven where fresh food meets attentive service in an inviting atmosphere. Whether you’re a local or just passing through Arden, stopping by French Fryz for a burger and some fries is an experience you won’t want to miss! Your palate will thank you.
